Taha'a

Wired and ready to get on our midnight flight to Tahiti!!

We've flown all this way!!

Getting closer!!!

3 more minutes to our destination! (I can read French now, mais oui!)

Tahiti welcomes me!

When in Tahiti, drink Tahitian beer! (even if it's only 6am)

Another flight to the island of Raiatea!

And then a 40 minute private boat ride over to the resort off the island of Taha'a!

A storm began on our way over, but we were still so excited to get to the resort!

Ia Orana, Taha'a!! (Ia Orana is hello in Tahitian!)

Hey, let's go! A little rain never hurt anyone!

It cleared a little while we were checking in

Then they took us to our bungalow!

This is ours! (see bottom left of postcard)
(That's Bora Bora in the distance. We'll go there next....)

Beautifully decorated with flowers

You could open the table and see (and feed) the fish below!!

I don't care if it's raining, I want to go swimming!!

Let's go, let's go, let's go!!

That night Mommy & Daddy ate dinner in our room while my 7 buddies and I caught up on some sleep

The next morning it was overcast but still a beautiful view

Daddy praying to the sun gods

We set out to have breakfast in the treehouse and then do some exploring

OK, time to go swimming!

Since it was overcast we pretty much had the place to ourselves

Underwater picture! The water was SOOO clear!

Lunch by the pool. Don't we look SO happy and relaxed!? (we were)

Back in the room - it started to brighten up!

A pre-dinner drink before the Polynesian dinner show!

And let's not forget to feed the fish before we go!

The food was awesome and the show was fun!

Or so I was told

I woke up for the fire dancer! (he is one scary looking dude!)

The next morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise!

YAY!! Sunny day!

We did some exploring in the morning and found this beautiful private beach, with a view of Bora Bora!

Time for pool and beach! (with some scenic shots thrown in along the way)

Wheeee!

Zzzzzzzz

After lunch we did some snorkeling!
Unfortunately this is when our camera started dying so no photos of the amazing coral garden where Mommy went snorkeling
